** IMPORTANT ** Be sure to review the FAQs and guidance for using the online HW system.  Most input errors can be avoided by taking the time to read these important tips. Key things to remember are:

  • All due dates/times are central time zone (MST+1), so an assignment that is due at 5am is actually due 4am Mountain time. Better to start the assignment early and complete it the night before the due date rather than work on the assignment at the last hour!
  • Due dates are due dates – you can not input answers after the due date/time has expired. Start early, get it done, then relax!
  • On “numeric” questions, you input ONE NUMBER — integer, decimal or scientific notation. Do not include commas or spaces in numeric answers or units. The computer carries out all calculations to at least six significant digits. Do not round off intermediate calculations or your final answer. Six digits are shown in solutions. Very large or very small numbers may be input with “scientific notation,” e.g., +3.56e-10, which is 3.56 times ten to the negative tenth power. However, 468 (or 468.0) is just as good as +4.68e+02 or +4.68E+02.
  • Multiple tries are allowed, but do not submit multiple input random guesses since incorrect answers reduce your possible score.
